A5.3 Type in Motion

This week I finish adding the whole script to the screen but there’re many more things I need to work on for the last week.

1. I should emphasize key words + animate it

• words like — Dude (jitter); DIED; awesome; joke (move wavy)
• “you guys!” (make it like the word rushing to the screen and has a sudden stop to show the excitement)

2. Using basic shapes to express emotions (colorful circles for happiness)

3. the word “CASA BONITA” can be multicolored since it’s like a festive, happy, and colorful theme park, Cartman’s happy place

4. Don’t tell, show

I will try not to be literal but more metaphorically using numbers and shapes

seems like people likes this effect of question marks coming in and fading out slowly

I also need some advice for where to stop the clip, it’s either stop at Kyle’s or Cartman’s word.

Here are some feedbacks I got during the class from peers. Thanks for leaving comments! Based on their comments, for the last week I will work on

1. making Kyle’s words color a tiny darker green since the green I chose before is like a neon green which is a bit hard to read.
2. adjust the text size ( “no”)
3. for synching, I will double check around 14 and 18seconds
